Family Party...

2015 ended on a good note, we all got together to celebrate mom and dad's 50th wedding anniversary. This is my favorite picture from the 400 I have from the event. I don't think I took hardly any pictures on Christmas (probably because the party was the day after)

Elk Hunt

How in the world they made it back to camp in one trip with both elk I will never know...
Matthew and Tyler both had an antlerless elk tag. It only took a few seconds to fill both tags. They all happened to be in the right place just as the sun came up- both boys saw elk, and both got there elk in one well placed shot. (It's just good for them that all four of them were there to help with the loading and unloading)
 Tyler's cow...
Matthew's trophy. This was a first for both boys. We have never had good luck elk hunting before. the freezer will be full this year.

Muzzleloader Hunt

Of course you can see that Kary and Tyler are both happy they filled their tags...now next weekend they can start elk hunting...

Summer Fishing Starts Out WELL

Panguitch Lake is always a good choice if you want to catch some good fish. Kamree had a blast fishing in the boat.

Another Graduation.....

But this one will be my last!
Hey, at least they are good at entertaining themselves...

Yahoo!!

Muzzleloader Hunt 2014

Even though this is Kary's deer- Tyler says he did all the heavy lifting so he is in the picture. It rained a lot during the hunt so Kary was lucky to fill his tag.

Lagoon 2014

This trip was a lot of fun. It was a spur of the moment trip....sometimes those are the best ones. Matthew, Craig and I are sitting on the right side there in front
As you can see.... we got a little wet. The boys got Tyler to go on every ride in the park (and that is saying something) Tyler doesn't usually do rollercoasters or what he calls "crazy" rides.

College Graduation

I am finally done with my Bachelors Degree at Dixie State University! (May 2014) I know Jennifer isn't in this picture at the college, but she showed up later at the barbeque to surprise me. It was a fun weekend with all of my kids.

Fishing 2014

We spent a lot of time fishing this summer. We tried Enterprise, but liked the fishing in Panguitch Lake the most. Even though Kary is holding this huge fish- I CAUGHT IT! As a matter of fact I caught the biggest fish every trip this whole summer.
We had enough big fish to bottle some of the meat. It was fun just to hang out with the boys and listen to them joke around. I got told I had to gut the fish for catching the biggest one. I helped- but Kary did most of the work. Fun Summer !!!

Gingerbread Houses

Making gingerbread houses with the grandkids is always fun. Kenyon and Kolbie eat more of the candy than they decorate with. Me and Kenyon were trying to make a camp trailer gingerbread house. The problem was- we couldn't get our graham crackers to stick together.
Kolbie put his house together quickly- he wanted to eat his house now!!!
Kamree built a "tremors" gingerbread house- Complete with worms in the sandy front yard. This was definately a fun way to spend the afternoon after going to their Christmas program at school.

Deer Hunt

Everyone who had a tag got their deer.... but what about the time spent doing every thing else? We spent quite a bit of time scouting for deer before the hunt started. The dogs have the right idea- stay warm and enjoy the view.

Once you get to camp, everyone wants a fire! We loaded up and went to get a truck full of wood for the weekend. (we need fire to have good smores) Kamree, Kenyon, Matthew, Tyler, Weston and Kolbie all helped haul firewood.

While the guys were out hunting we had our own fun in camp...

Kolbie's favorite part was the milk mustaches with breakfast.

Graduation

I have to say this seems unreal. Your baby is not supposed to graduate from high school.

A Day At The Lake

The sad part is that it took me a whole year to post pictures. This was summer of 2012. Everyone had a great day at the lake...

It seems the boys didn't nee too much help learning to ski- they all seemed to just pop right up

Tyler's Idea of a Birthday Party

This year for his birthday Tyler wanted to go four wheeling. When we got to Dog Valley it was cold, and there was water every where. The boys were in Heaven!! The coveralls they were wearing got re-named to "MUDDERALLS"
Craig got his dog muddy as well as himself
The boys all smiled at the sight of mud puddles
Mud was flying everywhere!!

Tyler claimed it was the best Birthday Party EVER!!

Our Trip to Disneyland

It's been 10 years since we have visited the magic kingdom, so we decided to try our luck again.
Craig remembered some of the rides from our last trip, but he enjoyed trying some of the new rides out. The Hollywood Tower of Terror wasn't open yet on our last trip. Craig and I decided we should try it out (everyone else chickened out) Craig liked the ride, but that will be my last elevator ride there!
Matthew went to Disneyland a while back for his graduation trip. He knew exactly which rides he wanted to go on again. We still managed to get him on rides he hadn't done on his trip.

Tyler was funny. Everytime we would tell him about our last trip he would just laugh. The last time we went to Disneyland Tyler insisted that we go see the 100 acre woods gang, and then ride "It's a Small World" as many times as possible. (he has gotten over that infatuation) After we went on the ride he waitd until we got to the end of the very long line and said AGAIN, AGAIN, AGAIN. I laughed so hard I thought I would never quit. His new favorite rides are Space Mountain and the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.

I guess I just need a driving lesson here.

Everyone had a great time. We only rode about 8 rides on Tuesday, and 8 on Wednesday. Thurday we had an early admission pass, and managed to do 20 rides before the park closed. The California adventure park has a nightly show called "World of Color" that is awsome. All of us enjoyed it alot.

This was too ironic to pass up. A family of plumbers with the worlds biggest leaking faucet.

Tyler liked this sign

The boys found they're favorite characters right here.

The boys were very competitive on all of the interactive rides where scores were possible. We had a great time!!!
